Choosing one or more of the Y’s philanthropic priorities means that the Y is able to offer memberships and programs that build healthier lives, stronger families, and a more connected community.
THE ANNUAL FUND: The Annual Fund powers the heart of the Y. It helps ensure that children, families, and older adults across the Boothbay Region can participate in programs that build health, confidence, and connection.
CAMP KNICKERBOCKER (CAMP K) FUND: Camp K is where kids discover adventure, independence, and lifelong friendships. Your support helps create unforgettable summer experiences that help young people grow with confidence and resilience.
LEADERSHIP LEGACY FUND: The Leadership Legacy Fund honors Andy Hamblett’s 24-years as the Y’s leader and is an unrestricted endowment fund. It invests in the long-term future of the Boothbay Region YMCA, helping sustain programs and opportunities that will strengthen our community for generations. All gifts will be matched, 1:1, until June 30, 2026, when Andy retires.
SUPOORTING Y-HOOPS: Supporting Y-Hoops honors the region’s culture of basketball by bringing young people together through mentorship and teamwork, helping kids build confidence, friendships, and life skills on and off the court. It is also a short-term capital project to resurface the court in the Russell Gymnasium, purchase new basketball hoops, an electronic dividing curtain, and new bleachers.
